Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another great week of impact! Still in the spirit of the #WomenHistoryMonth and following our resolve to empower more women from across the African continent, we have decided to bring to you another powerful woman but this time, a money mathematician, who is going round the world, changing people’s understanding of money and how to manage it.
Our guest on the Leadership Talk Show this week, Temi Alade-Mustapha is a banker and financial analyst. She has been serving in the banking sector for about 14 years now, in various departments and capacities with several notable commercial banks including Polaris Bank PLC.
Temi is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Economists Of Nigeria and was recently awarded an honorary Doctorate from the same Institute. She is an experienced trainer, financial coach, writer and public speaker. She has spoken at local, national and international events with primary focus on leadership, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. She is the author of the best selling book “Money Maths” and also the Editor of DDC Magazine.
As an international speaker, she has visited the United Kingdom, Estonia, Finland, United Arab Emirates, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Togo and Benin Republic, etc speaking, training and attending conferences.
Temi is the Lead Consultant, Money Mathematicians and Investors Network (MMIN); President of Academy of Transformational Entrepreneurs and Leaders (ATEL) and serves on the board of a number of leadership organizations.
She is an active member of Junior Chamber International, Nigeria, the leading global network of young active citizens that seeks to empower young people to create positive changes in their local communities. She is a graduate of the JCI Nigeria Certified Trainers course; graduate of JCI Leadership Academy in Ghana and a graduate of JCI Congress and Event Organizing Academy. In 2017, she served as the Chapter President of JCI Oluyole, and also as the Director, National Convention JCI Nigeria in 2018. In 2019, she was elected as the National Vice President of JCI Nigeria, South West District II.
Temi is passionate about the growth and development of the girl child; and to this course, she founded the Temi Alade Mustapha (TAM) Foundation in her bid to educate and empower the girl child.
In 2020, she was nominated for the Social Media for Social Goods Awards in the Professional Services Category.Temi Alade Mustapha was born in Kaduna and had her Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Banking and Finance from the Polytechnic Ibadan; Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
