The Board and Management of the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa hereby announce the appointment of Eduard Soponar as a member of its International Advisory Board.
Mr. Eduard Soponar, the CEO of Transylvania Tech Hub is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of founding multiple startups, includingThe Connecter , Prime Time Bath, Monica Model Management, UNKNOWN Entertainment and The Connecter Ventures. He also serves as a startup mentor for Scotiabank, one of Canada’s leading banks, through their “The Forum” initiative.
His commitment to promoting financial inclusion via technological innovation is reflected in The Connecter – a DeFi Super App backed by awards and global partnerships. He was also an International Partner of the World Business Angel’s Investment Forum (WBAF), representing Canada.
Prior to his venture into the world of entrepreneurship, Eduard was a professional swimmer and broke a record in Canada in 2012.
In partnership with Capital Factory, USA, Eduard and his team are building the first “Silicon Valley” of Europe, the Transylvania Tech Hub, which shall be offering: Venture Capital and Accelerators; International Events and Conferences; Professional Development and Learning Opportunities, and a Co-Working Community in Europe.
