Entrepreneurship: A tool for impact – Weyinmi Eribo

Ladies and gentlemen, this week on the African Students Leadership Academy, our guest shall be Weyinmi Eribo, an Acumen West Africa 2022 Fellow; a StartingBloc 2019 Social Innovation Fellow and Regional Chair, West Africa Alumni; a World Bank Scholar; an Orange Knowledge Program Scholar; and a Cherie Blair Foundation Alumni.

Weyinmi is the Founder of Wevvo Foundation and has over 14 years of experience across oil and gas, extractives, impact investing, gender lens investing, entrepreneurship and gender advocacy. She is skilled at public speaking and writes on thematic issues focused on women and entrepreneurship. She is a contributor for a national newspaper and was a member of the Ministerial Focal Group that designed the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund.

As a member of faculty of the Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge since 2020, she has contributed immensely in the growth of the Ugwumba Startups Community, which has empowered over 5,000 Nigerian youths.

Ladies and gentlemen, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 by 11am at the Unity House, 24 Nkwerre Street, Garki Area 11, Abuja, she would be engaging the African students of the Rochas Foundation College for Africa on the above topical issue about entrepreneurship.
