#UEC2022: Owerri 2.0 Edition loading…

The story of the Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge, a job creation and employment generation program of the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa is a true reflection of the saying that “charity begins at home.”

You may wish to recall that the highly successful idea pitching competition, which has turned over 10,000 youths and women in #Nigeria into startups founders and business owners was experimented in Owerri, Imo State on the 24th of May, 2019 at the West Brook Hotels.

It was in that maiden edition that the likes of Innocent Unachukwu, CEO of GreenBox Africa; Nwakuba Ezinne, CEO of Negs Honey Empire and Postmus Osuji, CEO of Rainbow Paints were trained and empowered. Today, they have created jobs for themselves and for others, as well as helping in solving the problems of their immediate societies and contributing to the GDP of our country.

Therefore, following the enormous impacts we have made across the 36 states plus the FCT through this program, we have decided to come to Owerri again, for another edition, exclusively for Imo youths tagged, UEC2022: Owerri 2.0 Edition.

In this edition, over 2,000 Imo youths who have innovative and scalable business ideas shall be empowered financially and with other incentives.

Imo youths, are you ready? Do you have business ideas you want to launch? Would you like to be empowered with startup capitals and business development training? Would you like to be mentored by University Professors and business coaches from the UK, USA, Europe, Canada, etc?
