#UEC2021 Application Portal Opens…

Today, as a gift to Nigerian youths and women on the occasion of Nigeria’s 61st Independence Anniversary, the Management of the Ugwumba Leadership Center opened the application portal for the 2021 Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge.

As earlier announced during the UEC 2021 Open Day by Remy Chukwunyere, the Center’s Executive Director, the Center and its partners are set to empower additional 2,000 young entrepreneurs in Nigeria between 18 and 45 years, who have ideas that can be transformed into business ventures and social enterprises.

According to Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, the President of the Center, “this year, we are going to support the three best business ideas to be selected at the grand finale of the idea pitching competition in Abuja with one million naira (N1,000,000) each. This is our own way of reducing unemployment and criminality among youths in Nigeria.”

He therefore called on the youths to avail themselves of this opportunity of being trained as entrepreneurs as well as stand the chances of being supported financially and mentored by experts selected from across the globe.
