Building a successful career in sports with Ken Barlow

Ladies and gentlemen, we are happy to welcome you to a wonderful new week, full of opportunities…As earlier announced, our guest this week shall be Ken Barlow, a highly celebrated former American basketball player.

Barlow attended Cathedral High School. As a senior, he led the school to the state semifinal game and received All-American honors. He accepted a basketball scholarship from the University of Notre Dame.

As a sophomore in the 1983-84 season, he contributed along with point guard David Rivers, to a runner-up finish at the 1984 National Invitation Tournament (NIT).

He spent 16 years playing professional basketball in Europe, winning an Italian championship (1987), a FIBA European Champions Cup (1987), three Israeli championships (1988, 1989 and 1990) and a Greek championship (1992).

In 2019, Ken Barlow was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.

Oh woow, as seen in our previous release, there is so much to talk about our guest, Ken Barlow.

Therefore, as a former professional basketball player, we have invited him to the Show, to share with African youths, his experiences while building a successful career in the sport.
