The Board and Management of the Ugwumba Leadership Center hereby announce the birth of its African Students Leadership Academy.
Over the years, the African continent has suffered series of setbacks in its strides to rise above pervasive poverty, illiteracy, bad leadership, insecurity, etc despite the abundance of both natural and human resources God Almighty blessed it with.
It is in response to the above and in furtherance of the impacts we have made so far in the lives of youths and women that we have decided to extend our leadership programs to students in both secondary and tertiary schools across the continent.
Therefore, the maiden edition of our African Students Leadership Academy with students selected from across Africa is scheduled to hold between August – October, 2023, starting on Wednesday, August 09, 2023 at the Rochas Foundation, Unity House, 24 Nkwerre Street, Garki, Area 11, Abuja.
We have assembled global leaders, such as Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, UCLDA President; Prof. Remi Ayodeji Duyile, former Vice President, Bank of America; Rajan Nazran, Chief Explorer, Global Indian Series; Chris Foltz, Managing Director, Responsible Solutions, USA; Ebi Elezianya, Founder, iTeach Africa; Uchechi Rochas, DG, Rochas Foundation; Victoria Odimba, CEO, C Insights Africa; Remy Chukwunyere, UCLDA Executive Director to speak and mentor the selected African students for the 3 months period.
We look forward to raising a new generation of leaders for Africa!
