Ugwumba Women Academy set to bring peace and development to Nigeria

Today, Tuesday, May 18, 2021, history was made across the country as the President of the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa, Mr. Uche Nwosu inaugurated Coordinators and Deputy Coordinators elected by Ugwumba Women in the six geopolitical zones of the country.

Speaking at the International Women Conference, with the theme: Raising A New Generation of Women for Nigeria”, which attracted speakers from around the world, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu said… “It is a thing of joy to see all the tribes gathered here today in peace and in unity. That is to show that the problem of Nigeria is not about religion nor our tribes. Seeing Nigerians gather together like this, is what keeps motivating us, as an organization determined to raise youth and women entrepreneurs for Africa.

As the theme of this conference suggests, today marks the beginning of a new era in Nigeria as we are inaugurating Regional Coordinators and their Deputies, who shall champion the life changing programs of the Ugwumba Women Academy to all the nooks and crannies of this country.”

He enjoined the members of the Ugwumba Women Academy to participate actively in the learning sessions, which had Ms. Shan Greer, Ms. Meeru Dhalwala, Heidi Bishop Maduhu, Ebi Elezianya and Wendy Trentis as speakers.

He thereafter concluded by thanking the UCLDA International Advisory Board led by Rajan Nazran and other partners of the center present for their continued support.

TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!
