Ugwumba celebrates women around the world

Today, in commemoration of the 2024 International Women’s Day, the Management of the Ugwumba Leadership Center celebrated members of the Ugwumba Women Academy during the 5th edition of the Ugwumba Women Conference.

Speaking at the event, the President of the Center, His Excellency, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu reiterated that the Center is gender sensitive as evident in our various programs, such as the U-Fund for Women.

Also speaking, the Vice President of the Center, Lolo Uloma Rochas Nwosu announced that she would continue to advocate for more programs that would benefit the women.

Speakers and panelists, including H.E Dr-Alisa Whyte; Prof. Remi Duyile; Ebi Elezieanya and others took turns to inspire our women to take actions for the good of their families and the nations at large.

Another high point of the event was the official MoU signing ceremony between our Center and the ImpactHer Foundation to provide digital skills training to Ugwumba Women across the country.

The event was a gathering of VIPS, our Global Ambassadors and Advisors, including Chief Chris Foltz; Dr. Karim R. Ellis – #1 Breakthrough Strategist & Motivational Speaker; Beryle Okwach of ImpactHER Foundation; Mrs. Esther Hindi, National President of Association of Women Living with Hiv/aids in Nigeria and leaders of the Ugwumba Women Academy.

Finally, the list of the 100 rural women selected to benefit from the U-Fund for Women was announced for immediate disbursement.
