The Nordic Nigeria Connect: An opportunity for Nigerian entrepreneurs

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen and how are you all doing today?

As promised, we are glad to announce the details of an extraordinary edition of #TheLeadershipShow with His Excellency, Ambassador Carl Michael Gräns, the Ambassador, Embassy of Sweden in Abuja, scheduled to hold on Wednesday, November 03, 2021.

His Excellency, the Ambassador is being invited to share with us business opportunities in Sweden and to throw more light about the forthcoming Nordic Nigeria Connect, an international conference organized by countries in the Nordic region: Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.

The Nordic Nigeria Connect, scheduled to hold in Lagos between November 23 – 24, 2021 shall bring together private and public sector stakeholders in Nigeria and from the Nordic countries in high level discussions on smart and green city solutions for the mega city of Lagos. The focus shall be on how to develop a smart and circular economy with specific focus on waste management, green energy, and transportation.

As you can see, this edition is very important to us and to all Nigerians, as it will showcase opportunities for Nigerians in the #Nordic countries, namely: #Sweden; #Denmark; #Finland; and #Norway.

As a result of the expected impact of the conference in the Nigerian economy, we have invited the Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon as our guest on the show.

His Excellency, Carl Michael Gräns is a serving Swedish Diplomat for about two decades and currently the Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon, since September 2019. He was the Press Counsellor at the Swedish Embassy in Berlin, Germany between 2015 and 2019.

He was also an exchange diplomat at the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Paris among other agencies at both national and international levels between 2008 and 2009. He also had postings abroad in several Swedish Embassies in Vilnius, Lithuania, Paris, France and Tel Aviv, Israel.

He has a Bachelors’ degree in French in 1988 in Paris and a Masters from the Stockholm School of Economics in 1997 and another Bachelors’ degree in Russian from Uppsala University in 2003.

As the Ambassador of Sweden to Nigeria, Ghana and Cameron, His Excellency, Ambassador Carl Michael Gräns, is actively involved in environmental protection, gender issues, smart city solutions, etc.
