Ladies and gentlemen, as you know applications for the 2020 Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge shall come to a close on the 31st of October, 2020.
Immediately after that, all those who applied shall be admitted into our compulsory Online Enterprise Academy, which is scheduled to hold between November 02 – November 10, 2020 on various platforms that will be announced soon.
Therefore, in line with our principles of transparency, we wish to reveal one of the Academy facilitators again to the public.
Today, it is our pleasure to reveal Lois Peters, an experienced Startups Coach with a demonstrated history of working with businesses and startups across the country. Lois has special expertise in Business Development, Public Speaking, Training, Small Group Counseling, Leadership Development, Marketing, Business Growth and Sales.
In 2014, she assisted an Owerri based agricultural startup known as Havilah Famz break even to become a major vendor to several hotels, restaurants, households in Imo Statet, including the Imo State Government House.
Between 2016 and 2017, Lois secured strategic partnerships for the KekeAds (a transit media advertising platform) at the Headquarters of the National Orientation Agency and the Federal Road Safety Commission. She created marketing tools, such as video contents, production training videos, etc for the KekeAds as well as recruited and trained sales representatives for the company at Enugu, Aba, Lagos.
As the Chief Operating Officer for the Innovation Growth Hub in 2018, she helped the CEO design the company structure and the Incubation Program for startups. In 2019, she joined Southbridge as a Business Development Consultant and assisted the CEO in building the brand from scratch and made sales of over N5million in less than a year. In 2020, she was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Lois Peters is also a certified Facebook and Google Trainer with IG Hub as well as a certified Google Startup Grind Chapter Director.
Over the years, Lois has trained over 500 people and is currently mentoring about 50 young entrepreneurs from across the continent. She is the Founder and CEO of Stavis Concerns, a consulting firm that caters for business development needs of startups and big organizations.
As an experienced enterprise coach, Lois is joining our team again this year to take our new Fellows through the Processes of Ideation and Pitching Techniques.
