JPI Youth Convention features Ugwumba Leadership Center

We’re excited to share some highlights from the recently wrapped-up JPI Youth Convention 2026 in Abuja—a truly inspiring gathering of visionaries, leaders, and over 3,000 young change-makers.

As one of the proud sponsors, the Ugwumba Centre for Leadership Development in Africa was thrilled to receive an Award of Excellence, which was presented to H.E. Uche Nwosu for his remarkable contributions to youth empowerment and leadership development. It was also a great honor to welcome the CEO of JPI to my office yesterday for the official award presentation.

The convention showcased an incredible lineup of speakers, including Dr. Linus Okorie (GOTNI Leadership Centre), Dr. Cosmas Maduka (Coscharis Group), Paul Onwuanibe (LANDMARK AFRICA), Mr Jubril Arogundade (HYBRID MOTORS), Chioma I. EZE (Accounting Hub and Data Entry Academy) Solve AI, global leaders like the Mayor of Minnesota Mayor Hollies J. Winston Legacy Coordination Network, and innovators all of whom contributed to a vibrant exchange of ideas and inspiration.

The UCLDA Director of Programmes, Bibby Kala-kala, D.O.P of the Ugwumba Leadership Centre, had the privilege of delivering a keynote address, reaching out to the minds and futures of the thousands of youths in attendance.

Both JPI and the Ugwumba Leadership Centre are deeply committed to nurturing transformational leaders, empowering youth, and creating sustainable impact in our communities. This shared vision paves the way for meaningful collaboration—one that will enhance capacity building, broaden opportunities, and cultivate a new generation of visionary African leaders.

Together, we’re not just developing leaders—we’re shaping the future.
