On behalf of our President, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, we want to appreciate all the participants in our 2020 Ugwumba Enterprise Academy (aka UEC 2020 Boot Camp) for the time you spent with us during the Boot Camp that started on the 2nd of November and ended today, 10th of November, 2020.
From the feedback we are getting from you, the efforts we put in to make this work were not in vain. We are also excited whenever we read your comments about how much the boot camp has changed your thinking and empowered you to do better in your businesses. Such stories gladden our hearts and encourage us to do more for young people across the African continent
.Now, we have moved into the next stage, which is the first preliminary pitching competition. For this competition, you are required to submit your pitch decks in video formats to us via email at ugwumbaenterprisechallenge@gmail.com. As soon as we get your videos, they will be uploaded to the “UEC 2020 Preliminary Pitches” Playlist on our YouTube channel.
Uploading the video pitch decks on our YouTube channel at www.bit.ly/ugwumbachannel will enable the public and our partners watch, like and comment on your videos. So, please, make sure you add your names, business names and briefs about them, so that we can capture those relevant information about your businesses while publishing your videos.
When your videos are online, you can start sharing their links on your social media handles for your family, friends and networks to watch and comment about your ideas. Again, the online voting is important to us, especially when it is from unique visitors who also subscribe to our channel. We shall compare their opinions with those of our technical team.
The preliminary pitching competition and online voting will help us select the best 50 startups and their founders, who shall proceed to the next stage.
