The Board and Management of the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa hereby announce the appointment of Colin Howes, the CEO of Series-A as a member of its International Advisory Council.
As the Founder and CEO of Series-A, a company that helps founders and CEOs move from seed funding to Series A or its equivalent, Mr. Howes is bringing onboard his over 20 years of experience in building, selling, and positioning complex digital, cloud, and deep tech solutions to the Ugwumba family.
He is very passionate about coaching, mentoring, and advising numerous startups, both privately and through the Founders Institute, where he co-leads the London chapter and ranks as the #1 global mentor. He leverages his expertise in closing big deals, developing new markets, negotiating strategic alliances, and managing sales and marketing channels for growth, to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.
In partnership with his Pitch Club, the Ugwumba Leadership Center is going to set up what shall be called the “Africa Pitch School” to be able to expose more startups from the African continent to experts, mentors, investors and founders in the UK, USA, Asia, Europe, etc.
