The African Students Leadership Academy 2.0 is set to host a significant session featuring Chris Foltz, a globally renowned transformation strategist and startups mentor. The event will take place on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 4 pm WAT.
Chris Foltz, the Managing Director of Responsible Solutions Ltd, a Silicon Valley-based global strategy firm, will lead the session. Foltz is recognized for his role in guiding change and transformation initiatives within the company. He has built a reputation as a leader in global startups and innovation ecosystems, serving as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the Founder Institute, the world’s largest pre-seed startup accelerator. He has also been a top-rated mentor in startup cohorts across five continents, contributing his expertise to Techstars Startup Weekend and Startup Grind’s popular fireside chat series. In 2021, Foltz’s leadership was highlighted by his inclusion in the IRG100, where he collaborated with top executives from major companies including Google, Unilever, Facebook, P&G, AB InBev, and Ford.
In addition to his professional roles, Foltz has taught entrepreneurship at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of the Ugwumba Leadership Center, a Global Ambassador for the Rochas Foundation, an advisor to Dream VC, and a startups advisor at Loyal VC. His upcoming session will focus on the theme of resilient leadership, drawing on his extensive experience and insights.
