The Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, Arch. Sonny Echono has commended the President of the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa, His Excellency, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu and his team for creating an enabling environment for the development of young people in Nigeria.
He said this recently, at the grand finale of the 5th edition of the Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge in Abuja. In his words, he said “the youths should focus on finding what they can do best to improve their lives and society at large through entrepreneurship”. He also encouraged them to ignore all the distractions around them and walk towards channeling their passions into scalable business ventures.
According to the TETFUND boss, initiatives like the Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge are helping to reduce the unemployment crisis among Nigerian youths and should be supported.
He concluded by calling on the over 700 young entrepreneurs from across the country, who participated in the Challenge to never give up as the entrepreneurship journey is not always smooth and requires consistency in order to succeed.
