The Management of the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa hereby announces that the grand finale of the 2021 edition of its idea pitching and grant competition for young entrepreneurs across the country shall hold in Abuja on the 7th of December, 2021.
Speaking to newsmen, recently, the President of the Center, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu informed that this year’s challenge shall empower over 2,000 young and women entrepreneurs, selected from across the 36 states plus the FCT.
According to him, “we are committed in making sure that Nigerians begin to transform their ideas, skills and passions into business ventures, instead of roaming the streets looking for jobs and getting involved in various forms of criminality. This we shall achieve through continuous business development training, business support services, access to finance and global investment opportunities in collaboration with our partners at Abuja Enterprise Agency; InnoPower Indy USA; NazranRoth UK; LeadershipLaire UK; Legacy Premier Foundation USA; etc.”
He therefore used the opportunity to call on the youths to get ready for the release of the application portal, before the end of September, 2021.
