As preparations for this year’s International Women’s Day (aka Ugwumba Women’s Conference) hots up, the President of the Ugwumba Leadership Center, His Excellency, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has announced that the Center shall support 100 petty traders across the country.
According to him, “there is an urgent need for the Government, #Philanthropists and other charitable organizations around the globe to support Nigerian youths and women, especially those living in the rural areas in order to ameliorate their sufferings arising from the current harsh economic conditions in the country. He stated that there is no better time to intervene in the lives of the downtrodden in Nigeria than now.”
You may recall that every year, the Center holds what is called the Ugwumba Women Conference in commemoration of the annual International Women’s Day.
