Youth Advocacy for Social Impact with Dr. Morayo Fakiya

As the 2024 edition of the African Students Leadership Academy nears its conclusion, anticipation builds for the final sessions, promising to leave a lasting impact on young African leaders. This week, the Academy welcomes Dr. Morayo Fakiya, MD, MHA, CPHQ, CPPS, CLSSBB, a distinguished Nigerian medical doctor based in the USA, to deliver a compelling address on “Youth Advocacy for Social Impact.”

Dr. Fakiya, the founder and CEO of ORET Healthcare Enterprise, brings a wealth of expertise to the forum. Her firm specializes in healthcare performance and process improvement consulting and training, focusing on data analytics, Lean Six Sigma methodology, and technology. With extensive experience in clinical care, quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, and health information management, Dr. Fakiya’s insights are highly anticipated.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Fakiya is deeply committed to making healthcare more equitable and accessible to underserved, under-resourced, and marginalized communities.
