As a follow up to the story about the exploits our President, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is making in London, we are pleased to announce that Nigerian youths shall soon begin to enjoy an exchange program in the UK and in selected countries in the Caribbean.
This is one of the outcomes of the high-level partnership meetings Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, President of the Ugwumba Leadership Center and Rajan Nazran, Chairman of the UCLDA International Advisory Board held recently with the High Commissioner of St. Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency, Dr. Kevin M. Isaac and the High Commissioner of Cyprus in England, represented by Mr. Costas Dafos.
The student exchange program, especially for participants of the Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge and the Ugwumba Leadership Academy is intended to enable knowledge sharing among Nigerian youths and those from the participating countries.
The duo also met with Prof. Adam Habib, the Director of SOAS University of London, a prestigious university in the UK and sought for an opportunity for knowledge sharing and joint course development with the Center for the benefit of Nigerian youths.
To facilitate the take-off of these programs, the President of the Ugwumba Leadership Center and his team also met with the representative of the Cyprus High Commission in England, Mr. Costas Dafos. Their discussions centered more on partnering with the European Union to support the educational and job creation programs of the center, which are all aimed at increasing youth employment in the country in the following sectors: agriculture, technology and in the creative industries.
Ladies and gentlemen, we shall keep you posted on the progress as we move forward. Please, remember to keep a date with us on this channel.
