In fulfilment of its mission of raising a new generation of leaders and entrepreneurs for Africa, the President of the Ugwumba Leadership Center, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has approved scholarship awards for selected youths from Imo State.
Announcing this to newsmen in Abuja, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu said: “we are so happy with the level of impacts we are making in the lives of youths and women in Nigeria. The multiplier effect is evident in the number of new jobs beneficiaries of our projects are creating for other youths. We are so grateful to the leadership of the Princeton Leadership Forum and National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies for considering us to sponsor some of our youths for the 2022 Youth Transformational Leadership Course (YTLC), which shall last for 2 weeks in Jos, Plateau State.”
According to him, “the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) is a policy formation center for bureaucrats, private sector leaders, Army officers, and medium-rank and senior civil servants, which was founded in 1979. Therefore, these youths we are sponsoring for a study there should consider themselves very lucky for this rare opportunity.”
In a release signed by the Executive Director of the Center, Mr. Remy Chukwunyere, those selected for the 2 weeks course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies. Kuru, Jos are:
1) Abazu Chukwuebuka
2) Darlington Ibekwe
3) Iloanya George
4) Ogbu Darlington, and
5) Emeka Macdonald.
Mr. Chukwunyere used the opportunity to encourage them to make maximum use of the opportunity which is designed to prepare young people from across the country for leadership positions in their various fields of endeavor.
