#UEC2021: The race for the new Ugwumba millionaires has begun…

In #Nigeria today, the high unemployment rate among the youths has been described as the cause of the many vices in the society. That is true because, no gainfully employed youth can afford to waste his future by indulging in the acts of terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, cyber-crime, political thuggery and even prostitution.

Surprisingly, millions of youths and women in Nigeria are blessed with creative and highly innovative ideas but have little or no knowledge of how to transform them into scalable business ventures or social enterprises. Interestingly, most of these ideas will not only transform their lives but the entire Nigerian society.

The Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge is targeted at such people, wherever they may be in Nigeria. Through the challenge, we discover these young people and equip them with enterprise development skills, support them financially and expose them to global investment opportunities.

The call for applications for the 2021 edition of the Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge was announced on October 01, 2021 and will be closed on October 20, 2021 by 11.59 pm.

As at today, over 200 youths have already applied and by October 20, 2021, the number must have crossed the 2,000 limit we estimated for this edition. You, too can be benefit from this life transforming project, where you acquire new skills needed to succeed in your chosen career for FREE!
