Ladies and gentlemen, many thanks for always being part of this Show brought to you by the Ugwumba Leadership Center.
As an impact investment and leadership center with a mandate to raise young and women entrepreneurs for Africa, we are always on the look out for new opportunities in the enterprise development and access to finance sectors.
So, next week on your favorite show, we are going to showcase the Ebi Marketplace, a newly launched platform that supports female entrepreneurs. The Ebi Marketplace is Nigeria’s first all women’s e-marketplace that provides access to finance, financial inclusion, and access to markets for Nigerian women entrepreneurs. The goal of the Marketplace is to democratize access to finance and e-commerce for women entrepreneurs.
To tell us more about the platform is no other than, Weyinmi Eribo, the Grants Manager and Team Lead of the Ebi Marketplace powered by SME.NG.
Weyinmi Eribo is a trained Geologist with Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE) expertise, an enterprise development consultant, and a gender advisor. She has several years of experience across the oil and gas industry, health and safety, not-for-profit management, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
She is a StartingBloc social innovation fellow and Regional Chair, West Africa Alumni, a World Bank Scholar and a Cherie Blair Foundation Mentee Alumni. She is a member of the Ministerial Focal group for the establishment of the National Youth Investment Fund and a contributor for BusinessDay Weekender where she writes on issues bordering gender inclusiveness.
Weyinmi is also the Founder of the Wevvo, an organization that provides access to finance, business capacity training, mentorship and a community of support for single female breadwinners in Nigeria.
Today, the Ugwumba Women Academy is growing a community of women entrepreneurs and leaders who are determined to cause positive changes in their immediate societies and Nigeria at large.
So, on the show next week, Weyinmi wil be sharing with our women and others across the country, how they can participate and benefit from the Ebi Marketplace powered by SME.ng
We therefore invite you to be a part of this conversation on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 by 12 noon. To join us, simply connect with us at www.facebook.com/ugwumbaleaders or on YouTube at www.bit.ly/ugwumbachannel
