The leadership of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) led by their National Speaker, Rt. Hon. Shuaibu Sani has described the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa (UCLDA) as one of the fastest growing leadership and enterprise development hubs in Africa.
Hon. Shuaibu made this declaration at the grand finale of the 2020 Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge in Abuja, after listening to the beneficiaries of the idea pitching and grant competition share their testimonies of the impacts of the project in their lives and businesses.
He said, “the center founded by our National Patron, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is practically touching lives of the unemployed youths in Nigeria, not just on paper but in reality. If we can have other successful Nigerians make such impacts in the lives of the youths like he is doing with the Ugwumba Leadership Center, there will be no room for violent agitations and looting by rampaging youths as we witnessed during the #EndSARS protests.”
He concluded by advising Nigerian youths across the country to begin to think outside the box in order to make things happen, rather than watch others make things happen.
