Today, in Abuja, the President of the Ugwumba Leadership Center, Mr. Uche Nwosu declared that Nigerian youths are not lazy.
He said this while delivering his Presidential Message at the grand finale of the 2020 Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge, which took place at the Abuja International Conference Center.
According to him, “the Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge is our own contribution to the job creation and economic development policies of the Government of Nigeria and those of other African nations.
He equally said that “as confirmed by our partners in the US, UK, Europe, etc, the ideas to be pitched this afternoon by the Ugwumba Fellows are innovative and scalable and that is why we are investing in these young Nigerians. Through the Challenge, we have discovered that Nigerian youths are not lazy. They only need to be supported to take over the world”.
He then called on the Hon. Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, His Excellency, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo and other stakeholders to adopt this model, which has been found to be more sustainable and productive in their empowerment programs for youths in Nigeria.
