20 finalists in the #UEC2020 loading…

As the grand finale of the 2020 Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge draws closer, the top 50 participants earlier announced by the Ugwumba Leadership Center are currently undergoing another round of pitching competition.

This assessment, which will produce the 20 finalists is currently being handled by our foreign partners at InnoPower USA.

As confessed by some of the participants, “the Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge model is very strict, challenging and empowering as compared with most other impact investment programs we have seen in Nigeria.”

Well, as thorough as our model is, we are not trying to punish the participants but to actually bring out the best in them and prepare them for the future as business Chief Executives in Africa.

Speaking with news men in Abuja, Mr Remy Chukwunyere, the Executive Director of the Ugwumba Leadership Center said….

“As usual, we gathered some of the most gifted #Nigerianyouths in this year’s edition and they have proved beyond every reasonable doubt that our youths are not lazy but need training and support to rebuild the economy of this country, as being provided by the Ugwumba Leadership Center.”

He therefore announced that following the quality of innovations and business ideas pitched by the participants this year, that his President, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has graciously increased the number of finalists and cash prize winners to 20 youths who shall be pitching their business ideas before our foreign partners, investors and relevant stakeholders from both government and private sectors in Abuja.

According to him, the new date for the official release of the list of the 20 finalists will now be on Wednesday, the 2nd of December, 2020.
